NE Revolution Militia

Soccer_Militia Originally uploaded by shersteve. The militia celebrate the start and finish of each Revolution soccer game by firing a round of blanks. During the game they celebrate each Revolution goal. Saturday, at the home opening game versus Toronto FC, the Revs lit up the night with four goals. The fourth also marked the 500th in the team's history. Fortunately, the defense was tight and they shut out Toronto 4-0. Way to go Revs!
